Teen Gaming!
Join us at the Gretna Public Library for our teen gaming event. We play board games, cards, and the Wii. You are welcome to bring friends and games from home. Free snacks & drinks.
Date & time: Friday, November 30th @ 3:30pm
What: A representative of the American Red Cross will be at the Gretna Public Library to conduct a babysitting course. Upon completion you will be certified in Infant/Child CPR and Babysitter Training.
When: Saturday, October 13th from 10am-4:30pm.
Where: Gretna Public Library Meeting Room.
Cost: $95.00 (Please make checks payable to the American Red Cross).
Be sure to register in person at the Gretna Public Library with payment. Space is limited.
Checks must be made out the American Red Cross.
The payment covers all of the materials used during the class session.

Join us at the Gretna Public Library Main Branch to discuss Every Soul a Star with others in the Teen Summer Reading Program. Make sure to sign up by June 21st in order to have the book ordered for you to pick up.

Join us for a free choice book club. Come with any appropriate book you have read and would like to share information about with the rest of the group. *Come to this meeting with a fiction book= 1 ticket, come with a non-fiction book, receive two tickets. Meet at the Main Branch.

Earth Day(2 days early)@ Your Library!
What: Join us to participate in several Earth friendly activities! We’ll also sample some organic foods. Free event.
Where: At the Gretna Public Main Library.

We will partake in a few pi day activities, including writing a “pi-ku” or “pi-em”, finding the circumference of objects in the library, taking a look at the book: Life of Pi by Yann Martel, and enjoying pie!

Come to the library on Tuesday, January 10th @ 4pm. We will have our monthly Teen Advisory Board meeting in which we discuss upcoming events, plan new programs, talk about music, movies, books, and more. Ideas pertaining to changes in the Teen area of the library will be addressed.
