February 14th @ 4pm will be our Teen Advisory Board meeting date. It’s fitting that it’s on Valentine’s Day since you love your library, isn’t it? : ) Feel free to invite friends/classmates. We will discuss upcoming events and programs, talk about adding to the collection, and more. Also during our meeting we will make a sweet treat.
Join us as our guest speaker Greg from Schramm State Park’s aquarium will enlighten us about aquatic invasive species that are causing endangerment to other life forms. This is a big issue impacting our waters that involves swift action to ensure the existence of native creatures.
When: Thursday, July 7th @ 11:30 am
Where: Gretna Public Library
Why: Our theme this year is: You Are Here; with that in mind it allows us to look at other living beings in our world that may not be around much longer if we don’t become aware and do something!
Snacks & refreshments will be provided!
Please be sure to register by Tuesday, July 5th.
(This is a free event for those in grades 6-12 participating in the Summer Reading Program).
