at Gretna Public Library
The Teen Advisory Board (T.A.B.) offers suggestions and help in making the Gretna Public Library a fun and exciting place for teens. We brainstorm ideas for upcoming events and programs, occasionally assist in setting up book displays for all patrons of the community to check out, and post flyers to get the word out about exciting events held at the library. Also, discussions on books, movies, and music are integrated. We always have free snacks and refreshments! This is a rewarding group to participate in with the potential to make real changes and propose and establish positive solutions!
If you would like to make your voice heard and play an exciting role in your library stop in to fill out a short form to become a member! (Parent/Guardian signature is required).
We meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 4pm (Sept.-May).
(Members must be in grades 6-12)

As a member of the Teen Advisory Board, you will be expected to:
*Attend and participate in the monthly meetings
*Help plan programs and events for young adults
*Offer your opinions about the Teen Zone, the collection, and the library
*Work with others in a team setting
*Dress and behave appropriately as a representative of the library during meetings and events.
